I am Jessica Simms, the proud principal of Mt. Hope School and a 2004 graduate of this wonderful school. I am thrilled to lead the school where my educational journey began.
I hold an EdS degree from the University of West Alabama and have served as an assistant principal before assuming the role of principal here at Mt. Hope School. Additionally, I have experience as an Office of School Readiness Coach with the Alabama State Department of Education, which has equipped me with a broad perspective on educational strategies and student development.
On a personal note, I am married to Chris Simms, and we have a wonderful daughter, Lila, who is set to graduate from East Lawrence High School in Lawrence County this year.
I am eagerly looking forward to a wonderful school year ahead, filled with growth, learning, and achievement for all our students. Let's make this year at Mt. Hope School a memorable one!
